FIVE STARS for Komfort Care! I enthusiastically recommend this exceptional senior care home, which has far exceeded our family’s expectations. It has been half a year since my mom arrived and we remain absolutely delighted with the care she is receiving. Perched on a hill in a quiet pastoral setting, the home is bright, cheerful, and always scrupulously clean. The business is efficient and well run, with an emphasis on health and safety. Communication is professional and prompt, and the kind and welcoming staff go out of their way to ensure that each resident receives loving care tailored to their unique needs. In short, I cannot recommend Cecile and her team highly enough!
In our case, my mom has advanced dementia and is largely non-verbal. Before coming to Komfort Care, she seemed unengaged and lonely. Now, she is alert and seems truly happy. Her caregivers have taken the time to get to know her and learn that she is social, loves music, and responds very positively to being included in activities (even if she no longer can participate actively). Since arriving, she is more active, more verbal, and suffers less from dehydration (a chronic condition resulting from the swallowing problems associated with her dementia). She enjoys appealing home-cooked meals (modified to accommodate her swallowing difficulties), and is always clean, rested, and well groomed. We are so pleased!

My cousin is a current resident of Komfort Care in Oregon City, and she has been there for over a year. I am truly impressed by the level of care and attention provided to her. My cousin can no longer able to care for herself and the team provides around the clock care. Every time I visit – my cousin is dressed, clean, and in good spirits.
The owner, Cecile Mukandekwe is very responsive to any questions I have and always takes the time to chat with me when I am visiting. Cecile, and all the care givers, are friendly, compassionate, knowledgeable, and go above and beyond to ensure the well-being of my cousin. The facilities are clean, comfortable, and have a warm and inviting atmosphere. There is always something cooking on the stove, so it feels very “homey”!
I would highly recommend Komfort Care to anyone looking for a safe and nurturing environment for their loved ones.
